সিটসেরনিকাবার্ড দর্শক তালিকা

সিটসেরনিকাবার্ড আর্মেনিয়ার ইয়েরেভানে অবস্থিত আর্মেনীয় গণহত্যার সরকারী স্মৃতিসৌধ। শয়ে শয়ে আর্মেনীয় বুদ্ধিজীবীদের কনস্টান্টিনোপল থেকে নির্বাসন দেওয়া দিয়ে যে গণহত্যার সূচনা হয়, ১৯৬৫ সালের ২৪ এপ্রিল তার ৫০ বার্ষিকীতে ইয়েরেভানে গণ প্রদর্শনের পরে, ১৯৬৭ সালে এই সৌধ উন্মোচন করা হয়।[১][২] ১৯৯১ সালে তৎকালীন সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়নের কাছ থেকে স্বাধীনতা অর্জন করবার পরে এই সৌধটি সরকারী অনুষ্ঠানের অংশ হয়ে ওঠে। তার পর থেকে বিদেশী কর্মকর্তারা আর্মেনিয়ায় আসলেই অধিকাংশ সময়েই আর্মেনীয় গণহত্যার শিকারদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানাতে এই স্মৃতিসৌধ দর্শনে আসেন।[৩] সিটসেরনিকাবার্ড সফরে প্রদর্শশালা দর্শনও ধরা থাকে। কিছু বিশিষ্ট অতিথি স্মৃতিসৌধের কাছে বৃক্ষরোপণ করেছেন।

গুরুত্ব এবং বিতর্ক সম্পাদনা

আর্মেনিয় গণহত্যার স্বীকৃতিদান আর্মেনিয়ার সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিদেশনীতিগুলির মধ্যে একটি এবং আর্মেনিয় উদ্বাস্তু বা অভিবাসী সংগঠনগুলির প্রধান লক্ষ্য। বহু আর্মেনিয় এই সফরগুলিকে গণহত্যার স্বীকৃতিদান হিসেবে গণ্য করেন।[৪]

২০০১ সালে পোপ দ্বিতীয় জন পলের সফর সম্পাদনা

পোপ দ্বিতীয় জন পল আর্মেনিয়ার জাতীয় ধর্ম হিসেবে খ্রিস্টধর্ম গ্রহণের ১৭০০ তম বার্ষিকী অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য ২০০১ সালের ২৫ শে সেপ্টেম্বর ইয়েরেভানে যান।[৫] পোপ রাষ্ট্রপতি রবার্ট কোচারানিয়ের সাথে বৈঠক শেষে পরের দিন স্মারক পরিদর্শন করেন। উনি স্মৃতিসৌধে মাল্যদান করবার পরে একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত ভাষণ দেন ও প্রার্থনা পাঠ করেন।[৬][৭] পোপ তার প্রার্থনায় মেটজ ইয়েঘারন (আর্মেনীয় শব্দ, যা আক্ষরিক অর্থে অনুবাদ করলে হয় "মহান অপরাধ") শব্দটি ব্যবহার করেন, যা নিয়ে বিতর্ক সৃষ্টি হয় যে উনি ১৯১৫ সালের গণহত্যার ঘটনাকে স্বীকৃতি দিলেন কি না।[৮]

রোমান ক্যাথলিক চার্চের প্রধানের এইরূপ পদক্ষেপ তুরস্কে অসন্তোষের ঝড় তোলে। ২০০১ সালের পয়লা অক্টোবর প্যানআর্মেনীয়ান.নেট প্রকাশ করে - তুর্কি গণমাধ্যম দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছে, কারণ পোপ তার শেষ দিনের ভাষণে "গণহত্যা" শব্দটি বলেছেন।[৯]
