নাজো ধারেজো
নাজো মুখতার ধারেজো (সিন্ধি: نازُو ڌَاريجو, জন্ম ১৯৭৬/১৯৭৭) হলেন একজন পাকিস্তানি সক্রিয়কর্মী ও রাজনীতিবিদ। পুরুষ আত্মীয়দের কাছ থেকে নিজের কৃষিজমি রক্ষার বিষয়ে তিনি যে দৃঢ়তা দেখিয়েছেন তার ফলে তিনি "পাকিস্তানের সবচেয়ে কঠোর নারী" হিসেবে উপাধিও পেয়েছেন এবং তাঁর লড়াই ২০১৭ সালের চলচ্চিত্র মাই পিওর ল্যান্ডকে অনুপ্রাণিত করেছিল।[১] তিনি ওয়াদেরি নাজো ধারেজো নামেও সমধিক পরিচিত।

জীবনী সম্পাদনা
নাজো ধারেজের বাবা হাজী খুদা বাক্শো খান ধারেজো ছিলেন পাকিস্তানের সিন্ধু প্রদেশের জমিদার পরিবারের একজন ভূমিপতি। নাজো ধারেজো তাঁর বাবার দ্বিতীয় স্ত্রী ওয়াদেরি জামজাদির জ্যেষ্ঠ মেয়ে। তিনি পাকিস্তানের সিন্ধু প্রদেশের কাজি আহমেদ শহরের একটি প্রাসাদে জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন।[২][৩]
তাঁর বাবা তাঁর শিক্ষার জন্য শিক্ষক নিয়োগ করেছিলেন, ফলে তিনি সিন্ধির পাশাপাশি উর্দু এবং ইংরেজি ভাষা শিখতে পেরেছিলেন। এরপরে তিনি সিন্ধু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে অর্থনীতিতে স্নাতকোত্তর অর্জন করেছিলেন।[১]
তিনি মুখতার নাজো ধারেজো নামে পিএমএল-এন দলের সাথে রাজনীতিতে সক্রিয় ছিলেন। ২০১৩ সালে, তিনি সিন্ধুর জন্য সংরক্ষিত নারী আসনের জন্য প্রণীত তালিকায়ও তালিকাভুক্ত ছিলেন।[৪]

She is considered a local legend due to her bold stance on dealing with her ongoing battle to protect her land from people who are attempting to grab her agricultural land; She is always armed with a single Kalashnikov for her safety, whenever she makes rounds on her land. In the two decades she is looking after her land whilst supervising her workforce, making sure that land is productive and profitable. She is also taking part in politics and supports PML-N. Her long term goal is to become the Chief Minister of Sindh.
