যোনিচ্ছদ বা সতীচ্ছদ (ইংরেজি: hymen — উচ্চারণ: হাইমেন্‌) হচ্ছে মিউকাস মেমব্রেন দ্বারা সৃষ্ট একটি ভাঁজ, যা যোনির প্রবেশমুখ আংশিক বা সম্পূর্ণ আবরণ করে রাখে। এটি ভালভার বা বহিঃস্থ যৌনাঙ্গের অংশবিশেষ গঠন করেন।^[১]^[২] ইংরেজিতে যোনিচ্ছদের অপশব্দ হচ্ছে "Cherry" (চেরি, এক প্রকার ফলের নাম)। ইংরেজি ভাষায় "Popping one's cherry"-এর অর্থ হচ্ছে, কারো কুমারীত্ব হারানো।^[৩] বাংলায় সতীচ্ছদ শব্দটির উৎপত্তি এজন্য যে বিশ্বাস করা হয়, এর উপস্থিতির দ্বারা কোনো মেয়ের কুমারীত্ব থাকার ব্যপারে নিশ্চিত হওয়া যায়। তা সত্ত্বেও, কোনো নারীর যোনিচ্ছদ পরীক্ষা করেই কুমারীত্ব থাকা বা না থাকাটা নিশ্চিত করা যায় না। কারণ, যৌনসঙ্গম ছাড়াও অনেক কারণে যোনিচ্ছদ ছিঁড়ে যেতে পারে।^[২]^[৩]

অন্যান্য প্রাণীতে যোনীচ্ছদ সম্পাদনা

প্রজনন তন্ত্রের বিকাশ সাদৃশ্যপূর্ণ হওয়ায়, অনেক স্তন্যপায়ী প্রাণীতে যোনিচ্ছদের উপস্থিতি দেখা যায়। যেমন: শিম্পাঞ্জী, হাতি, ম্যানাটি, তিমি ইত্যাদি।^[৪]^[৫]
