পদ্মসম্ভব (দেবনাগরী:पद्मसम्भव, তিব্বতি: པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས, ওয়াইলি: pad ma 'byung gnas) (অর্থাৎ পদ্ম থেকে যিনি সম্ভূত) হলেন একজন বিশ্বখ্যাত বৌদ্ধভিক্ষু যিনি খ্রিস্টীয় অষ্টম শতাব্দীতে তিব্বত এবং তৎসংলগ্ন হিমালয়ের পার্বত্য অঞ্চলসমূহে বজ্রযান বৌদ্ধধর্ম প্রচার করেন এবং বৌদ্ধধর্মের র্ন্যিং-মা ধারার প্রবর্তন করেন। হিমালয়ের কোলে অবস্থিত এই অঞ্চলে ইনি গুরু রিনপোছে এবং বজ্রগুরু নামেই খ্যাত।[১]

তিব্বতী বৌদ্ধ গ্রন্থসম্ভারে প্রাপ্ত দুইটি গ্রন্থে পদ্মসম্ভবকে রচয়িতা হিসাবে স্বীকার করা হয়ে থাকে। এর মধ্যে মান-ঙ্গাগ-ল্তা-বা'ই-ফ্রেং-বা (ওয়াইলি: man ngag lta ba'i phreng ba) গ্রন্থটি গুহ্যগর্ভতন্ত্রের ত্রয়োদশ অধ্যায়ের টীকাভাষ্যবিশেষ। আর্যপায়পাশপদ্মমালাপিন্ডার্থবৃত্তি বা 'ফাগ্স-পা-থাব্স-ক্যি-ঝাগ্স-পা-পাদ্মো-'ফ্রেং-গি-দোন-ব্স্দুস-পা'ই-'গ্রেল-পা (ওয়াইলি: 'phags pa thabs kyi zhags pa padmo 'phreng gi don bsdus pa'i 'grel pa) নামক অপর গ্রন্থটি উপায়পাশপদ্মমালানাম নামক মহাযোগ তন্ত্রের টীকাভাষ্য বিশেষ।[২]
