রেজিমেন্টকেন্দ্রতে এই রেজিমেন্টের নব সেনা (রিক্রুট)দের প্রশিক্ষণ হয়, রেজিমেন্টের কেন্দ্র অধিনায়ক একজন ব্রিগেডিয়ার হয়ে থাকেন যিনি এই রেজিমেন্টেরই একজন কমিশনপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা। রেজিমেন্ট থেকে কেউ যদি মেজর-জেনারেল হন বা লেঃ জেনারেল হন তাকে রেজিমেন্টের কর্নেল সেনানায়ক (একটি আনুষ্ঠানিক পদ) দেওয়া হয় যেটাকে ইংরেজিতে বলে কর্নেল কমান্ড্যান্ট এবং সেনাপ্রধান যদি এই রেজিমেন্ট থেকে নির্বাচিত হন (এই রেজিমেন্টে কমিশন পেয়েছেন এমন ব্যক্তি) তাহলে তাকে এই রেজিমেন্টের কর্নেল সর্বাধিনায়ক (কর্নেল ইন চীফ) পদ দেওয়া হয়।
