This infobox is for use with the first paragraph of a ranking section of an article concerning a university or college. For instructions on how to use the template in an article, see "Usage" below.

This template only covers overall rankings and does not support subject-rankings. Click here for similar templates.

Usage

To use this infobox, copy one of the formats below and insert it right above the relevant paragraph in an article. Then insert the rank after the first equals-sign. It should only consist of a number or a band (i.e., "201" or "201-250" not "201st" or "top 250"). All entries are optional, but at least one rank must present for the template to work. A source must be inserted after the second equals-sign. It takes the form of a normal in-text <ref> </ref> reference and may optionally include additional text.

Please only include regional rankings when the publisher compiles a special list for the region. These fields are not meant to duplicate the global lists. Just because a regional list is possible here does not mean the publisher has compiled one for said region. Please do not count the place within a region yourself.

Parameters

A ranking is entered in a rank-reference pair, for example: | QS_W = 125 | QS_W_ref = <ref>…</ref>
The reference part is mandatory.
