Description: This photograph is from the fourth album in a set of eleven albums documenting the construction of Hardinge Bridge over the lower Ganges River at Sara, India (now Paksey, Bangladesh) on the Dhaka-Kolkata railway line. Sir Robert Gailes was the chief engineer for construction of the steel railroad bridge.

Physical Description: 1 photographic print; gelatin silver, part of 1 volume (87 gelatin silver prints); 11 x 16 cm on 30 x 41 cm mount
