শরাব (রং)
শরাব, মদ বা ওয়াইন একটি রঙ বিশেষ যা মূলত লাল রঙেরই একটি গাঢ় আভা। এটি সকল প্রকার রেড ওয়াইন বা লাল মদগুলোর রঙসমূহের একটি সাধারণ ও গড়পড়তা উপস্থাপনা।

ইংরেজিতে রঙের নাম হিসেবে ওয়াইন (wine) শব্দটির রেকর্ডকৃত প্রথম ব্যবহার হয় ১৭০৫ সালে।[২] কখনো কখনো এই রঙটিকে বর্ডেক্স রঙ হিসেবেও ডাকা হয়ে থাকে।[৩]

ডানপাশে বা উপরে প্রদর্শিত রঙটি হলো লৌহ শরাব যা ইংরেজিতে ক্ল্যারেট (claret) বা বর্ডেক্স (bordeaux) এই দুই নামেই পরিচিত।[৫]
এটি আসলে বর্ডেক্স মদের সাধারণ বা গড়পড়তা একটি রঙ।
ইংরেজিতে রঙের নাম হিসেবে ক্ল্যারেট শব্দটির রেকর্ডকৃত প্রথম ব্যবহার হয় ১৫৪৭ খ্রিস্টাব্দে।[৬]
