স্বজ্ঞা
স্বজ্ঞা (Intuition) দ্বারা প্রমাণ, সাক্ষ্য, সচেতন যুক্তি বা কীভাবে জ্ঞান আহরিত হল তা জানা ছাড়াই জ্ঞান অর্জনের ক্ষমতা।[১][২] বিভিন্ন লেখক স্বজ্ঞার সংজ্ঞা বিভিন্নভাবে দিয়েছেন, যেগুলোর মধ্যে একে অচেতন জ্ঞানে প্রত্যক্ষ প্রবেশ (direct access to unconscious knowledge), অচেতন চেতনা (unconscious cognition), অন্তঃস্থিত অনুভূতি (inner sensing), অন্তর্দৃষ্টি (inner insight), অচেতন প্যাটার্ন পরিচিতি (unconscious pattern-recognition), সচেতন যুক্তি ছাড়া প্রবৃত্তিগতভাবেই কিছু বোঝার ক্ষমতা ইত্যাদি দ্বারা সংজ্ঞায়িত করা হয়েছে।[৩][৪] অনেক দার্শনিকগণ বলেন, স্বজ্ঞাকে প্রায়ই সহজাত প্রবৃত্তি, সত্য, বিশ্বাস, অর্থ ও অন্যান্য বিষয়ের সাথে মিলিয়ে ফেলা হয়, যেখানে অন্যেরা বলেন সহজাত প্রবৃত্তি, বিশ্বাস ও স্বজ্ঞা - এগুলো মোটামুটিভাবে সম্পর্কবদ্ধ।[৫][৬]
শব্দের ব্যুৎপত্তি সম্পাদনা
"স্বজ্ঞা" শব্দটি ইংরেজি intuition এর পারিভাষিক শব্দ। intuition শব্দটি এসেছে ল্যাতিন ক্রিয়াপদ intueri বা লেট মিডল ইংলিশ (late middle English) শব্দ intuit থেকে। intueri এর বাংলা করলে দাঁড়ায় "বিবেচনা" আর intuit এর বাংলা করলে দাঁড়ায় "ভাবা"।[১]
