'''হিন্দু-জার্মান ষড়যন্ত্র''' ছিলো ১৯১৪ হতে ১৯১৭ সালের মধ্যে সংঘটিত ষড়যন্ত্র, যাতে ব্রিটিশ ভারতের ঔপনিবেশিক সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে সর্বভারতীয় প্রতিরোধ ও বিদ্রোহ ঘটানোর পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছিলো। এই ষড়যন্ত্রে অংশ নিয়েছিলো চরমপন্থী ভারতীয় জাতীয়তাবাদী বিপ্লবী সংগঠনসমূহ, মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ঘাদার দল, এবং জার্মানির ভারত স্বাধীন কমিটি। <ref name=Plowman84>{{Harvnb|Plowman|2003|p=84}}</ref><ref name=Hoover252>{{Harvnb|Hoover|1985|p=252}}</ref><ref name=GBrown300>{{Harvnb|Brown|1948|p=300}}</ref> ষড়যন্ত্রের সূত্রপাত হয় ১ম মহাযুদ্ধের সূচনালগ্নে। আইরিশ প্রজাতন্ত্র আন্দোলন, জার্মান বৈদেশিক দপ্তর, এবং সান ফ্রান্সিস্কোর জার্মান দূতাবাস এই ষড়যন্ত্রে সহায়তা করে। এর পাশাপাশি তুর্কি অটোমান সাম্রাজ্যও এতে কিছু সাহায্য করেছিলো। ষড়যন্ত্রের একটি বড় পরিকল্পনা ছিলো পাঞ্জাব এলাকা থেকে সর্বভারতীয় বিদ্রোহের সূচনা করে [[সিঙ্গাপুর]] অবধি তা ছড়িয়ে দেয়া। ভারতবর্ষে ব্রিটিশ শাসনের সমাপ্তি ঘটানোর লক্ষ্যে ১৯১৫ সালের ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসে এই বিদ্রোহ শুরু করার পরিকল্পনা করা হয়। ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসের এই ষড়যন্ত্র (যা ঘাদার ষড়যন্ত্র নামে খ্যাত) বিফল হয়, যখন ব্রিটিশ গোয়েন্দারা কৌশলে ঘাদার আন্দোলনের ভেতরে ঢুকে পড়ে সব তথ্য জেনে ফেলে। আন্দোলনের প্রধান নেতাদের গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। ভারতবর্ষের বিভিন্ন স্থানের ছোটোখাটো সেনাদল ও সেনানিবাসের বিদ্রোহের পরিকল্পনাও বানচাল করে দেয়া হয়।
 
হিন্দু-জার্মান ষড়যন্ত্রের অন্যান্য পরিকল্পনার মধ্যে ছিলো ১৯১৫ সালের সিঙ্গাপুর বিদ্রোহ, অ্যানি লারসেন অস্ত্র পরিকল্পনা, যুগান্তর-জার্মান ষড়যন্ত্র, কাবুলে জার্মান দূতাবাসের চক্র, এবং ভারতবর্ষে কনট রেঞ্জার্সের বিদ্রোহ। এছাড়া কারো কারো মতে ১৯১৬ সালের ব্ল্যাক টম বিস্ফোরণও এই ষড়যন্ত্রের অংশ ছিলো। এছাড়া হিন্দু-জার্মান ষড়যন্ত্রের অংশ হিসাবে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যে ১ম বিশ্বযুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণরত ব্রিটিশ ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর কাজে বাধা সৃষ্টির পরিকল্পনা করা হয়।
 
ভারতীয়-আইরিশ-জার্মান জোট ও ষড়যন্ত্রটির বিরুদ্ধে বিশ্বব্যাপী ব্রিটিশ গোয়েন্দারা তৎপর হয়ে উঠে এবং সাফল্যের সাথে এই ষড়যন্ত্রকে নস্যাৎ করে দেয়া হয়। মার্কিন গোয়েন্দা সংস্থাগুলো অ্যানি লারসেন ঘটনার পরে পরে ১৯১৭ সালে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে এই ষড়যন্ত্রের প্রধান হোতাদের গ্রেপ্তার করে। ভারতবর্ষে এই ষড়যন্ত্রের বিচার করা হয় [[লাহোর ষড়যন্ত্র মামলা|লাহোর ষড়যন্ত্র মামলায়]]য় এবং যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে বিচার করা হয় হিন্দু -জার্মান ষড়যন্ত্র মামলায়। তখন পর্যন্ত এই মামলাটি ছিলো যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ইতিহাসে সবচেয়ে দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে চলা এবং সবচেয়ে ব্যয়বহুল মামলা।<ref name="Plowman84" />
 
ভারতবর্ষের স্বাধীনতা আন্দোলনে এই ষড়যন্ত্রের যথেষ্ট প্রভাব পড়ে। ১ম বিশ্বযুদ্ধের শেষ লগ্নে এই ষড়যন্ত্রটি নস্যাৎ হয়ে গেলেও ভারতে ব্রিটিশ শাসনের নীতিমালায় এর ব্যাপক প্রভাব পড়ে।<ref name=Popplewell4>{{Harvnb|Popplewell|1995|p=4}}</ref> ২য় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সময়ে জার্মানি, ইতালি, এবং দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব এশিয়াতে একই রকমভাবে ইন্দিশ্চে লিজিয়ন, আযাদ হিন্দুস্তান ব্যাটালিয়ন, এবং আজাদ হিন্দ ফৌজ গড়ে তোলা হয়।
