== Section Translation tool enabled in Bengali Wikipedia ==

The Language team is pleased to let you know that the [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Content_translation/Section_translation Section Translation] tool is now enabled in Bengali Wikipedia. It means you can translate real content one section at a time using your mobile devices with ease.
We know this tool will be useful for your community since data shows significant mobile editing activity in Bengali Wikipedia. Also, the Bengali editors helped validate the Section translation concept during the Initial research.
Content created with the tool will be marked with the [https://bn.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges?hidebots=1&hidenewpages=1&hidecategorization=1&hideWikibase=1&hidelog=1&tagfilter=sectiontranslation&limit=500&days=30&urlversion=2 “sectiontranslaiton” tag] for the community to review. In the future, there are plans to make the following improvements to the tool:
*Enhance the ways to select the articles for translation
*Support complex content like infoboxes
*Allow working on a translation in multiple sessions.
*Add mechanisms for communities to filter low-quality translations.
