জর্জ গ্যামো (মার্চ ৪, ১৯০৪ – আগস্ট ১৯, ১৯৬৮), (জন্ম জর্জি আন্তোনোভিচ গ্যামভ), একজন সোভিয়েত-আমেরিকান তাত্ত্বিক পদার্থবিজ্ঞানী এবং বিশ্বতত্ত্ববিদ। তিনি লেমাট্রে'র মহা বিস্ফোরণ তত্ত্বের একজন প্রাথমিক প্রবক্তা এবং উন্নয়নকারী ছিলেন। তিনি কোয়ান্টাম টানেলিং এর মাধ্যমে আলফা ক্ষয়ের একটি তাত্ত্বিক ব্যাখ্যা আবিষ্কার করেন, তরল ড্রপ মডেল এবং পারমাণবিক নিউক্লিয়াসের প্রথম গাণিতিক মডেল আবিষ্কার করেন,তেজস্ক্রিয় ক্ষয়, নক্ষত্র গঠন, নক্ষত্র নিউক্লিওসিন্থেসিস ,মহা বিস্ফোরণ নিউক্লিওসিন্থেসিস (যাকে তিনি সম্মিলিতভাবে নিউক্লিওকসমোজেনেসিস নামে অভিহিত করেছেন) এবং আণবিক জেনেটিক্স এর উপর কাজ করেন।
