Cantonment Public School and College Momenshahi (CPSCM) is situated at the north-western part of Mymensingh Cantonment. Initially the school started functioning in a one storied building. Subsequently it was shifted to its present location. Though the institution started with only 23 teachers, 64 students in a corrugated tin-shade house with only School section, it is now a magnificent organization with 4,200 plus students, 112 teachers and beautiful, serene campus covering 11.19 acres of land.

The purpose and function of an educational institution is to provide equipment and technique for meeting various needs of life. As an Army governed institution, Cantonment Public School and College Momenshahi (CPSCM), develops the students’ power to think, to search virtue and truth. The system of this institution transmits students’ cultural values to the next generation. Under dynamic supervision of an army officer as the Principal and bunch of agile faculty members, this institution is run very smoothly. This institution helps to develop personality traits and grow leadership among the students through different co-curricular activities. Students are to be in proper uniform and are to participate in assembly regularly so that they can have patriotic zeal by singing national anthem. The institution is advancing in line with the advancement of modern teaching method. The whole result goes on under automation system. Multimedia class room, modern ICT Lab, internet facilities, science lab etc. are available in this institution. To bring out the latent talent of a student, all these things play a significant role. Academic activities are continued following a routine-wise program. At the beginning of the academic year class-wise routine, academic year planner are provided to the students. In fine, it can be said, this institution helps a student not only to become an educated one but to be a perfect human being also.
