বাশকোরতোস্তান হলো বিভিন্ন গান ও নৃত্য প্রতিষ্ঠানের কেন্দ্র এবং জাতীয় নাট্যশালার অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। এখানে রয়েছে বিভিন্ন যাদুঘর এবং পাঠাগার, এছাড়াও বেশকিছু বার্ষিক লোক উৎসব এখানে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। দেশটিতে রয়েছে সাতটি বাশকির, চারটি রুশ এবং দুইটি তাতার রাষ্ট্রীয় ড্রামা থিয়েটার, একটি রাষ্ট্রীয় অপেরা এবং ব্যালে থিয়েটার, একটি জাতীয় ন্যাশনাল সিম্ফনি অর্কেস্ট্রা, ''বাশকোরতোস্তান'' চলচিত্র স্টুডিও, ত্ত্রিরিশটি ফিলহারমনিক কালেকটিভ এবং বাশকির রাষ্ট্রীয় লোক নৃত্য এসেমবল।
বাশকোরতোস্তানে অবস্থিত বাশকির ড্যান্স স্কুল একটি স্বনামধন্য প্রতিষ্ঠান। এই বিদ্যালয়ের অনেক ছাত্রছাত্রী রাশিয়ার এবং অন্যান্য দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করে পদক অর্জন করেছে। বিশ্বনন্দিত ব্যালেট নৃত্যশিল্পী রুডলফ নুরেয়েভ উফায় তার নৃত্য জীবন শুরু করেন। তিনি তার শৈশবেই একটি বাশকির লোক অনুষ্ঠানে নাচার জন্য অনুপ্রাণিত হন।
