'''বাকু''' ([[আজারবাইজানি ভাষা|আজারবাইজানি ভাষায়]]: Bakı) আজারবাইজানের [[রাজধানী]] ও বৃহত্তম [[শহর]]। শহরটি [[আজারবাইজান|আজারবাইজানের]] দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব অঞ্চলে আবসেরোন উপদ্বীপে [[কাস্পিয়ান সাগর|কাস্পিয়ান সাগরের]] পশ্চিম উপকূলে অবস্থিত। শহরটির কাছেই কাস্পিয়ান সাগরে অনেকগুলি তৈলক্ষেত্র রয়েছে। তৈল পরিশোধন তাই শহরটির প্রধান শিল্প। বাকুর নিকট থেকে উৎসারিত পাইপলাইন দিয়ে সুপসা, [[জর্জিয়া]], নভোরসিয়িস্ক ও [[রাশিয়া|রাশিয়ার]] কৃষ্ণ সাগর-তীরবর্তী বন্দরগুলিতে এবং [[তুরস্ক|তুরস্কের]] [[ভূমধ্যসাগর|ভূমধ্যসাগরীয়]] বন্দর সেইহানে তেল সরবরাহ করা হয়। এছাড়াও বাকুতে লোহার কেবল, তুলা, চামড়া ও খাদ্যদ্রব্য প্রস্তুত কারখানা আছে।
