(July 2012)">citation needed</span>]]''&#x5D;</sup> The [[অক্টোবর বিপ্লব|Russian October Revolution]], for example, was not intended to seek national independence (though it merely transformed government for much of the former [[রুশ সাম্রাজ্য|Russian Empire]], it did result in independence for Poland, [[ফিনল্যান্ড|Finland]], [[লিথুয়ানিয়া|Lithuania]], [[লাতভিয়া|Latvia]] and [[ইস্তোনিয়া|Estonia]]). However, the [[আমেরিকার স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধ|American Revolutionary War]] was intended to achieve independence from the beginning.
