'''মোন্তেবিদেও''' ([[আ-ধ্ব-ব]]: [monteβi'ðeo]) উরুগুয়ের রাজধানী শহর। শহরটি মোন্তেবিদেও ডিপার্টমেন্টের প্রাদেশিক রাজধানী। এটি দেশের দক্ষিণাঞ্চলে রিও দে লা প্লাতা নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত। প্রশস্ত রাস্তাবিশিষ্ট উরুগুয়ের বৃহত্তম এই শহর দেশটির প্রধান অর্থনৈতিক, প্রশাসনিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক কেন্দ্র। উরুগুয়ের বেশির ভাগ মাংস ও পশম প্রক্রিয়াকরণ কারখানা এবং অন্যান্য শিল্পকারখানাও এই শহরের মেট্রোপলিটান এলাকাতে অবস্থিত। শহরে আরও আছে একটি বৃহৎ মৎস্য আহরণ শিল্প। মোন্তেবিদেওর বন্দরের মাধ্যমেই উরুগুয়ের বেশিরবভাগ বৈদেশিক বাণিজ্য সম্পাদিত হয়। বহু পর্যটক শহরটিতে ও সংলগ্ন সমুদ্র সৈকতগুলিতে বেড়াতে আসেন। উল্লেখযোগ্য দর্শনীয় স্থানের মধ্যে আছে কেররো নামের পাহাড়টি। এই পাহাড়টি থেকেই শহরের নামকরণ এসেছে।
