ভৌত বিশ্বতত্ত্বে তমোশক্তি[১] বা গুপ্ত শক্তি বা কৃষ্ণ শক্তি বা অন্ধকার শক্তি (ইংরেজি: Dark energy) বলতে শক্তির অনুমানভিত্তিক একটি রূপ বোঝায় যা সমস্ত মহাশূন্য জুড়ে বিস্তৃত এবং মহাবিশ্বের সম্প্রসারণের হার বৃদ্ধিতে ভূমিকা রাখে।[২] তমোশক্তির অস্তিত্ব অনুমান মহাবিশ্বের ক্রমবর্ধমান সম্প্রসারণের হার ব্যাখ্যার একটি জনপ্রিয় উপায়। বিশ্বতত্ত্বের বর্তমান আদর্শ মডেল তথা ল্যামডা-সিডিএম মডেলে তমোশক্তি মহাবিশ্বের তিন-চতুর্থাংশ ভর ও শক্তির উপস্থিতি ব্যাখ্যা করে।

ভৌত মহাজাগতমাণ এবং জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানে, অন্ধকার শক্তি একটি অজানা শক্তি যা মহাবিশ্বের সম্প্রসারণকে গতিশীল করে তোলার জন্য সমস্ত স্থানকে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য অনুমিত হয়। [৩][৪] গাঢ় শক্তি ১৯৯০ সাল থেকে পর্যবেক্ষণ করে ব্যাখ্যা করার সবচেয়ে গ্রহণযোগ্য অনুমান হয় যে, মহাবিশ্ব একটি গতিশীল হারে প্রসারিত হচ্ছে।

কসমোলজির আদর্শ মডেলটি সঠিক বলে মনে করা হয়, বর্তমান পরিমাপ থেকে বোঝা যায় যে, অন্ধকার শক্তি বর্তমান দিনের বিশ্লেষণের মহাবিশ্বের মোট শক্তির ৬৮.৩% অবদান রাখে। অন্ধকার বিষয়বস্তুর ভর-শক্তি এবং সাধারণ (বারোনিক) পদার্থ যথাক্রমে ২৬.৮% এবং ৪.৯% অবদান রাখে, এবং নিউট্রিনো এবং ফোটনের মতো অন্যান্য উপাদানগুলি খুব ছোট পরিমাণে অবদান রাখে।[৫][৬][৭][৮] গাঢ় শক্তি ঘনত্ব (~ ৭ × ১০-৩০ গ্রাম / সেমি ৩) খুব কম, সাধারণ বস্তুর ঘনত্ব বা ছায়াপথের মধ্যে অন্ধকার বিষয় তুলনায় অনেক কম। যাইহোক, এটি মহাবিশ্বের ভর-শক্তিকে প্রাধান্য দেয় কারণ এটি স্থান জুড়ে একক।[৯][১০][১১]
