উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশনসহ উকিপিডিয়া আন্দোলন বেশ কয়েকটি প্রতিষ্ঠান একাধিক মোবাইল ডিভাইস অপারেটিং সিস্টেমে উইকিপিডিয়া ব্যবহার করার জন্য অফিসিয়াল মোবাইল অ্যাপ প্রকাশ করে। অ্যাপ স্টোরের মাধ্যমে বিনামূল্যে পাওয়া যায়: অ্যান্ড্রয়েড (গুগুল প্লে) এর মাধ্যমে), আইওএস (অ্যাপ স্টোরের মাধ্যমে), ফায়ারফক্স ওএস (ফায়ারফক্স মার্কেটপ্লেসের মাধ্যমে), এবং উইন্ডোজ ৮ (উইন্ডোজ স্টোরের মাধ্যমে)। এছাড়াও উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশনের ওয়েবসাইট থেকে যে কোনও তৃতীয় পক্ষের থেকে স্বাধীনভাবে ডাউনলোড করা যেতে পারে, যা পুরানো এবং বিটা সংস্করণগুলিও রাখে।[২]

- আইওএস অ্যাপ্লিকেশনটি মোবাইল ওয়েব সংস্করণের অনুরূপ উইকিপিডিয়াটির একটি পঠন এবং লেখা সংস্করণও সরবরাহ করে। এটি ব্যবহারকারীদের ফেসবুক এবং অন্যান্য সামাজিক ওয়েবসাইটের মাধ্যমে একটি নিবন্ধ ভাগ করতে পারবেন। এটি ব্যবহারকারীদের তাদের বর্তমান অবস্থানের কাছাকাছি জিও-ট্যাগিং নিবন্ধগুলি খুঁজে পেতে দেয়। এটা বিভাগ বা আলাপ পাতা দেখায় না, স্বাভাবিক ডেস্কটপ সংস্করণ দেখতে না।
